The students of standard V B had an enriching opportunity to visit the boys Saint
Mary’s orphanage where 75 boys are lovingly cared for, educated and provided
with a safe and nurturing environment. The premises offered a serene and
disciplined atmosphere reflecting the dedication and heartfelt commitment of the
management staff and the guidance of father Arulapam.
Sophia girls of standard 5 B are sincerely grateful to the management for
graciously allowing students of standard 5 B to visit, learn, interact and share
meaningful moments with the boys. The visit proved to be not only educational
but also deeply inspiring for our girls who gained valuable insights into empathy,
gratitude and community service.
Contribution of essential items were made by our principal and class girls too,
which was warmly appreciated by the orphanage. This gesture of Sharing added
a special touch to the visit enforcing value of generosity and social responsibility.
The Interaction between the students was lively and joyful. Children from both
institutions enthusiastically showcased their talents through singing and dancing,
creating a beautiful atmosphere of unity, friendship and mutual respect.
Overall outreach program was memorable and heartwarming experience that left
a positive impact on everyone involved. The orphanage too was generous to
share a treat for our students which was so very well appreciated by our girls a
lovely day spent together at St. Marys orphanage. God bless all.
Thank you, Sister Alpana for giving standard 5 B this great opportunity.
