Student Seminar (Std. IX, X & XII)

On 25th May 2026, a highly inspiring student seminar was conducted in the auditorium of Sophia High School for 600 students of Classes IX, X and XII. The 90-minute session aimed at helping students build a strong and determined mindset, especially during crucial academic years. The seminar proved to be both educational and deeply motivating for everyone present. The students are very grateful to their Principal, Sr. Alpana, for organising such a valuable session at the beginning of their academic year.

The keynote speaker for the event was Rahul Kapoor Jain, who is recognised as one of the top 50 speakers in the world. From the moment he stepped onto the stage, he captured the attention of the audience with his energetic personality and powerful stage presence. What made his speech truly memorable was the perfect balance of humour and meaningful life lessons. He interacted with students in an engaging manner, ensuring that the audience remained attentive and involved throughout the session.

During the seminar, Mr. Jain shared several valuable insights about success, determination and self-growth. One of the most important lessons he emphasised was that students should never give up on something they truly believe in. He explained that action is driven by passion and determination, and that consistent practice is the key to improvement. Another thought- provoking point he made was that true learning happens when one understands a concept so well that no additional teacher is required to explain it.

A major highlight of the seminar was the introduction of an eight-step module designed to help students transform their goals into outcomes. The session encouraged students to think positively, work consistently and remain focused on their ambitions.

Overall, the seminar was extremely inspiring and left a lasting impression on everyone. It was undoubtedly a meaningful experience from which every student learnt something valuable.
