Sophia High School bid a heartfelt farewell to Sister Vishala on 10th June 2026 in
the school auditorium. The programme, themed Rooted in God, Growing in
Grace, was a touching celebration of Sister Vishala's years of dedicated service,
leadership, and commitment to the Sophia family.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome and introductory address,
followed by a graceful prayer dance that invoked Gods blessings upon the
gathering. The ceremonial lamp was lit, symbolizing hope, wisdom, and the light
of faith that Sister Vishala has shared throughout her tenure.
A devotional prayer service created an atmosphere of gratitude and reflection. A
student representative then expressed heartfelt appreciation on behalf of the
student community, sharing memories and experiences that highlighted Sister
Vishala's positive influence on their lives.
One of the highlights of the programme was a video tribute showcasing
significant moments from Sister Vishala's journey at Sophia. The presentation
beautifully captured her contributions, achievements, and the many lives she
touched during her service.
Words of appreciation were offered by Sister Alpana, who acknowledged Sister
Vishala's unwavering dedication, compassionate leadership, and commitment to
the school's mission and values. This was followed by a felicitation ceremony by
the Management, PTA, and Student Council as a token of gratitude and respect.
The students expressed their affection and gratitude through a melodious
musical tribute, creating a memorable and emotional atmosphere. Sister Vishala
then delivered her farewell address, sharing words of wisdom, gratitude, and
encouragement with the students and staff.
A symbolic lamp-handover ceremony marked the passing of leadership and
responsibility, signifying continuity in the school's vision and values. The
programme concluded with a warm welcome to Sister Tanuja, who begins a new
chapter of leadership at Sophia High School.
The farewell was a meaningful occasion filled with gratitude, memories, and
