Recycling Drive by ITC&'s WOW

Interact Club of Sophia High School, stepped up to organise a full day used- paper collection drive from the entire school community be it the youngest to the senior most student on the 17th of March, 2026.

This was towards the paper Recycling Drive by ITC's WOW initiative (Wellbeing out of Waste). While motivated students showed up with their bundles of old books, the enthusiastic support of parents with crates of old newspapers and paper packaging materials was equally evident. Encouragement shown by Principal Sr. Alpana, drove the Interactors and their teachers to sacrifice time and energy in organising this event with their physical presence throughout the day. All contributors received attractive stationery proportionately and higher contributions were rewarded with certificates and badges by ITC-WOW.

Sophia has once again sealed its commitment to sustainability with its total contribution of 6548kgs of recycled paper that was saved from a landfill today.
