Blood Donation Camp

The 80th Indian Independence Day celebrations at Sophia High school presided by Past District Governor, Rtn. B L Nagendra Prasad, consisted of the flag hoisting, a patriotic programme and a blood donation camp held in the school campus. The blood donation drive was organised by Sophia school management PTA, Rotary, Interact & Red Cross Society.Sophia Interactors and Interact Club teachers were also on hand to help till the end.

The event publicised through circulars and banners by the Principals Sr. Alpana, Sr. Tanuja and Sr. Madhuja was quite successful and by 1 pm at closing time a total of 58 units of blood was collected from the voluntary and eligible donors.
