outreach trip to St.Mary's Home(Orphanage)

On Saturday, 28th January 2023, by 12 noon the students of Class 7B went in the school arranged BMTC bus on an outreach trip to St.Mary's Home(Orphanage), Royan Circle, Chamrajpet. There was a 2 hour interaction with the students and the 60 orphans in the age group of 8-15 years. The visit consisted of entertainment programmes from both the ends. Visiting the orphanage sure helped the students build empathy and compassion for children who are less fortunate. It created a sense of gratitude and appreciation for one's own family and the comforts of home. Visiting the orphanage inspired the students to give back and make a positive impact in society and to appreciate life's simple pleasures. Donations of groceries sponsored by the management included 130 kgs of rice, lentils, oil, cooking powders and some other donations by students of stationery and toiletries.
